Days of our lives...

to all of us,....

I saw ds happenin in movies,...dint kno that it wud cum true in lyff too...

d movies were blvable,...bt sometimes i feel lyk wts happenin in lyff is too good to be trrue...(lyk honestly)!!!

a bunch of people, come from different parts of the country/world to mumbai(the cliched city of dreams)
...and start dancing to the tunes of maximum city..

inside the walls of our lives,...

.....we talk,we share,
we laugh, we cry,
we gossip, we crib,
we inspire, we conspire,

....we BOND.

a little time through,...and things start concretizing....

a hint of teenage romance here.......

the stronger ties start showin more and the less stronger are left behind........

there are misunderstandings,...ther is bitterness....ther are tiffs....

bt read the fine print n u'll still find a grp of people who depend on each other to get through the "exhilarated highs and utterly depressed lows" of lyff...

its like treading together on an uncertain path...with hands clasped together, not because the other knows the way, no one does actually,...

but bcuz v kno that if one of us falls, u have the others to grasp on to....

scratch the surface, u find mature individuals, who inspite of their tiffs, neither wish bad for the other, nor let it hinder the cluster....

we still stick 2 each other,..after all, they are what v depend on...:)

as time flies, it heals,....an outing or two is all it takes for the spats to dissolve in all the good spirit....

what it results in is one big family...a family that is bonded by some of the most universal sentiments,

yet a quintessential bond is born to all thats so unexceptional,...

it may not seem comprehensible now,...bt once we are through this journey,..we might forget the hands that we held..

but for all that it means to us right now,...it means nothing less than a wizard's spell - how else would we have made it through this roller coaster???

some light, finally.

2 down out of an ordeal of 3 exams...both of which were screwed up...!!! aarggh!!!!....my studies need therapy big tym!!!

And this deep trough after one peak,..i thought i'll atleast maintain my modest average but in vain - and now im so  sure that the ideology that i weaved is just so impeccable.

When you are dead sure about a certain thing - however usual or unusual it may be, it is bound to not fall into place the first time. And that, not to meet the crappy philosophy which propogates "dont look for the result, just focus on your task" - it actually is a challenge for you - to test you - to what extent you can stretch yourself for that thing to go right.

Ive failed, more often than not , when i acknowledged it to the philosophical roots , but this recent realisation has taken me way past the dejection after a failure.

i have been realizing a lot of things lately, including religion - atheism to be precise, thanks to my ever-pondering mind set - but more on that later (read: post exams)

Back to studying for now. Later.

P.S: - And i dont know if its just me or is it for real but during my preps for exam this tym i really felt my ability to comprehend things has improved. Good for me.  : )

:(

Today i feel lonely, utterly disconnected, to the world, to everything. There's something missing in today's day, the sense of belonging - that i try to locate in everything but dont find in too many. Today was probably meant to reinforce the complete absence of that sentiment.

i dont have a girl best friend, i dont have a boyfriend, i dont have a room-mate. i overthink excessively & end up ruining stuff.

i think on lines overly mature, or should i say too old for my age.

i think i am boring.

Vogue is not my bible, and no i do not dress 2 kill. In fact i dress just well enough to survive. Shopping doesn't interest me too much & i refuse to spend hours lamenting about how gorgeously those red shoes would match my dress.

And im not the kind to make the current Miss India green with envy - and it doesn't matter to me much  bcuz that is not even what i want.

and yet im not sorted in lyff. i abide by my profile which says that my existence is patented with paranormal confusion. I dont know what i want in lyff from lyff, neither will i kno how to get to it.

And today, this is all sinking in - making it hard as if it already isnt. im looking for something, some relief - nothing.

I am exhausted - but i dont know of what. I am lethargic but not enough to pass out.

i miss certain people in lyff, certain things & certain emotions too.

i have been yearning to stay alone, n now that iam - all alone in a house, its strange - it just is. i like ds part where i have one place 2 come 2 everyday but i liked my nomadic lyff equally well too.

the pursuit right now is only 2 prove 2 myself that given the resources, you can achieve results.

i want to live it up to the fullest whatever it may be.

But whatever, i feel lonely tonight & i dont see anything that can possibly change the way im feeling,

Coming of age..

It was supposed to be one of those boozy nights & end in a daze. It took me by surprise when it gradually took a different turn - starting with some random conversation about the country & its course of action, it slowly slipped into what we think of our country - a lengthy discussion about the various practices, beliefs, the stand that our country takes.

A lot of blaming the system obviously was involved (obviously) - be it corruption, the jan lokpal bill but at the same time there was also appreciation of the ones who had been able to challenge the system & rise above it to epitomize success-then it doesnt matter whether it was philanthropy or bribery.

Then came our (de)famed college  - the wreck its made our lives - the paranormal change that our lives have undergone now that we are college going people and almost into the ty of our graduation - time flies .

The injustice in college - the wasted efforts to study , the efforts that didnt yield results, the poor attendance, the exams missed cuz of oversleeping.......

But finally it came to this  point that we all agreed on - the burning desire to do something “productive”  - something that we can follow with passion , dedication & all of those fancy sounding words which would surface once we'd find that one thing that gives meaning to our life.

one quest that shapes our life - the pursuit of that one thing that we'd wake up to do at 5 in d morning & not laze around till 5 in the evening - the yearning to balance fun & something concrete.

Yes, we have finally come to a point when we realize that these 3 years are more than just to fool around and we are ready to make worthwhile of whatever time we are left with.

Although we’ve always known that whatever we do, we’ll do it well – now we have the urge to put it into reality – to reinforce the belief in ourselves.

"Ignorance is not bliss"

Even as i sit here writing about it, instead of plugging in my earphones and going for a walk at 7:30 in the morning, I’m filled with a zillion possibilities as to what we may end up doing and where all we myt reach.

The only essential thing, the first move - planned or spontaneous – step up.
